International Development Week 2021February 2, 2021
February 7 to 13 is International Development Week—a chance to celebrate the spirit of global solidarity among Canadians committed to creating a better world.
The theme for International Development Week is “Go for the Goals”. Referring to the United Nations’ 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, the theme illustrates the importance of achieving gender equality, health and climate action to enable global peace and prosperity by 2030.
The pandemic is exacerbating many of the inequalities that the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) address. In this time of crisis, the efforts of Canadians, including CESO Advisors, are vital to steer the world back on track towards the SDGs. Following this roadmap for humanity, we can achieve more inclusive economies, resilient societies and a better global recovery.
