Communications and Engagement Officer (Contract)

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Communications and Engagement, the Communications and Engagement Officer (C&E Officer) is responsible for planning, developing and executing a variety of communications and marketing programs in support of the SUMM project and broader CESO objectives. The C&E Officer will play a key role in the development and implementation of the design of marketing materials and overall branding strategy. The C&E Officer will also support the implementation of a variety of projects and programs from conception through to execution and ensuring seamless client and advisor service. This position is currently remote, due to COVID-19, with the possibility of returning to the office in either Montreal or Toronto. This is a contract position until July 31, 2022.

Bilingual Volunteer Services Officer 

The Volunteer Services (VS) Officer is responsible for providing excellent customer services to CESO Advisors (CAs) while preparing them for their assignments. The VS Officer will ensure the smooth deployment and provide CAs with post-assignment feedback. The VS Officer will work closely with Program staff, CESO Advisors and In-Country Teams (ICTs) in the day-to-day delivery of assignments. Duties include data entry, deployment and logistics delivery, pre-assignment CA preparation and post assignment feedback management and delivery. In addition, the VS Officer will work alongside other members of the VS team on continuous process improvements to ensure efficiency and excellent program delivery to CAs. Work will be done remotely and the successful candidate can be based in either the following provinces/territories: Ontario, Quebec, British Columbia & North-West Territories. French is required.

CESO Strategic Advisor, Cacao Value Chain – Honduras (Volunteer Position)

The CESO Strategic Advisor (CSA) will support Program Managers (PMs) to develop, adapt and implement the Accelerating Women’s Empowerment (AWE) program strategy in the selected sector and value chain. With her/his experience in the select area(s) of focus, the CSA will work in close collaboration with the PM, the in-country teams, and CESO’s Gender Sensitive Value Chains (GSVC) Advisor to support analysis and explore strategic options with the aim to deliver impact. In line with AWE’s programmatic goals, she/he will support the development of strategic partnerships; design assignments; enable effective and efficient advancement in GE/WEE objectives; and proactively build the capacity of key stakeholders, including partners and CESO Advisors.
