Attack in Burkina FasoAugust 15, 2017
We are deeply saddened to hear the news of the attack in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso on August 13, 2017. We extend our deep condolences to the family, friends and colleagues of the victims of the shooting, including Canadian volunteer, Bilel Diffalah, during this difficult time.
Only one CESO Volunteer Advisor is currently on assignment in Burkina Faso. He is safe and will remain in his current location 400 km away from the capital, until later this week. All CESO in-country staff are safe.
We continue to monitor the situation closely and will provide more information as we find out more.
