Anthony Pagano brings an extensive, high-profile international career in the private sector and a strong understanding of business fundamentals to his role on the CESO board.
Mr. Pagano is RBC’s lead legal advisor for all potential mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, strategic alliances and investments considered or entered into by RBC globally. He also acts as a key advisor to RBC’s representatives for a number of international joint ventures.
As the global head and a founding member of RBC’s Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) Law Practice Group, Mr. Pagano has led, managed, and been involved in a number of complex and transformational M&A transactions for the bank. Under his leadership and direction, RBC’s M&A Law Practice Group was honoured in New York in 2011 as the winner of the International Law Office Global Counsel Awards in the M&A category.
Mr. Pagano earned his Bachelor of Commerce degree from McGill University in 1986, his law degree from Osgoode Hall Law School in 1989 and was called to the Ontario bar in 1991.
