How to become a volunteer

Please review Part 1: Is CESO For YOU? to be award of the requirements for becoming a CESO Volunteer Adviser.

To apply, please forward your most recent résumé (our computer system only accepts Microsoft Word document attachments) to volunteers.toronto@ceso-saco.com, preferably in the CESO standard Résumé Guide Format. (Please include your e-mail address on your resume. Your e-mail address is very important as chosen applicants will be contacted by e-mail.)

Note: Due to the volume of requests, it may take approximately one to two weeks, if not sooner, before you receive a response to your CESO application. We appreciate your patience.

What a prospective Volunteer Adviser is expected to do:

1. Send in a detailed résumé/CV for consideration as described above
2. Attend a half day orientation session
3. Complete a Volunteer Adviser Registration Form
4. Attend a face-to-face interview
5. Have work-related references checked

We also welcome your interest in working as an in-house volunteer in any of our local offices. We offer a wide variety of interesting work, from fundraising to finding the right volunteer for an assignment.
