In order to provide easy access to CESO's Members' only area, we employ the use of browser cookies, specifically persistent cookies, which retain your log-in information from session to session. Please make sure that cookies are enabled on your browser.
Persistent Cookies are saved to your hard drive and are available to the Web site software each time you access the site. This type of cookie allows you immediate access without having to log in for each session.
Internet Explorer 5 To enable cookies:
- Go to Tools, then click on Internet Options.
- Click on the Security tab.
- Click on the Custom Level button and scroll to Cookies.
- To enable per-session cookies. Under "Allow per session cookies (not stored)" and check "Enable."
To enable persistent cookies. Under "Allow cookies that are stored on your computer" and check either "Enable" or "Prompt."
- Click OK to exit that screen.
- Click Apply, then click OK to exit Internet Options.
To enable only cookies that originate from CESO:
- Go to Tools, then click on Internet Options.
- Click on the Security tab.
- Click on the Trusted Sites icon, then click on the Sites button.
- Copy the following URL http://www.ceso-saco.com and paste it into the box labeled "Add this Web site to the zone."
- Click the Add button.
- Copy the My Account URL http://www.ceso-saco.com and paste it into the box labeled "Add this Web site to the zone."
- Click the Add button.
- If it is checked, uncheck the box labeled "Require server verification (https:) for all sites in this zone," and then click OK.
- Click Apply, then click OK to close Internet Options.
Internet Explorer 6 To enable cookies:
- Go to Tools, then click on Internet Options.
- Click on the Privacy tab.
- Select either the "Medium" or "Medium High" privacy level according to your preference.
- Click Apply, then click OK.
To enable only cookies that originate from CESO:
- Go to Tools, then click on Internet Options.
- Click on the Privacy tab.
- Under "Web Sites," click the Edit button.
- Copy the following URL http://www.ceso-saco.com and paste it into the box labeled "Address of Web site."
- Click the Allow button.
- Copy the My Account URL http://www.ceso-saco.com and paste it into the box labeled "Address of Web site."
- Click the Allow button.
- Click OK to exit that screen.
- Click Apply, then click OK to close Internet Options.
Note: If you add CESO URLs to your Trusted Sites list, be sure to uncheck the box labeled "Require server verification (https:) for all sites in this zone," located at the bottom of the Trusted Sites dialog box.
Netscape 4 To enable cookies:
- Go to Edit, then click on Preferences.
- On the left pane, click on Advanced.
- Under "Cookies," check "Accept all cookies" or "Accept only cookies that get sent back to the originating server" according to your preference.
- Click OK.
Netscape 6 To enable cookies:
- Go to Edit, then click on Preferences.
- On the left pane, double-click on Privacy & Security.
- Click on Cookies.
- Check "Accept all cookies" or "Accept only cookies that get sent back to the originating server" according to your preference.
- Click OK.
Netscape 7 To enable cookies:
- Go to Edit, then click on Preferences.
- On the left pane, double-click on Privacy & Security.
- Click on Cookies.
- Check "Enable cookies for the originating web site only" or "Enable all cookies" according to your preference.
- Click OK.
Note: If you check "Enable cookies based on privacy settings," click on View and make sure your level of Privacy is set at Low, Medium, or High. If your level of Privacy is set at Custom, make sure that all of the items under "First Party Cookies" are set at "Accept" or "Flag."
AOL 7 and 8
To enable cookies:
- Click on Settings.
- Select Preferences.
- Click on Internet Properties (WWW).
- AOL uses Internet Explorer as its browser, so use the IE instructions above that pertain to your configuration.
AOL 9 To enable cookies:
- Click on Settings.
- Select Internet [Web] Options.
- Click on Use your Internet Explorer settings to set advanced browsing options.
- If you use IE 5, follow these instructions; if you use IE 6 follow these instructions.
