Canadian Executive Service Organization (CESO)

Find out about CESO services and volunteer opportunities
at the 15th Annual Canadian Aboriginal Festival

Toronto - “The 15th Annual Canadian Aboriginal Festival is an excellent venue to share information about CESO’s services and opportunities for volunteering,” said Bob Dickson, Vice-President of CESO National Services. “Each year we look forward to being a part of this vibrant celebration of Aboriginal cultures.”

Festival attendees are encouraged to visit CESO’s booth during the annual festival on Saturday, November 29 and Sunday, November 30 at the Rogers Centre in downtown Toronto.

CESO is a non-profit organization that offers economic development and governance capacity building services in Aboriginal communities across Canada as well is developing countries overseas. Since 1969, CESO National Services has successfully linked Aboriginal businesses, communities and organizations with volunteers in over 27,000 projects. Volunteers work alongside CESO clients as mentors, trainers, and advisers to support them in reaching their goals whether that’s starting their own business, developing a marketing strategy or a community-planning initiative.

CESO offers unique and exciting volunteer opportunities for individuals to share their professional experience in a variety of fields.  Current opportunities include becoming a facilitator of the Aboriginal Women for Tomorrow workshops which focuses on personal and professional development.

“CESO Volunteer Advisers have a lifetime of experience and skills to transfer to clients who are eager to learn,” said Don Johnston, CESO President and CEO. “We are very proud of their commitment and dedication to our mission and the goals of our clients.”

CESO staff and volunteers will be at the 15th Annual Canadian Aboriginal Festival (www.canab.com) at the Rogers Centre this weekend. To find out more about volunteering with CESO or our programs and services, visit CESO’s festival booth or visit us online at www.ceso-saco.com.
