Aeroplan and CESO Launch New Partnership - Beyond Miles

Today, May 17, 2006, Aeroplan and CESO entered into a new and exciting partnership called Beyond Miles. Aeroplan President and CEO Rupert Duchesne launched the new initiative, describing it as a Community Investment program designed to benefit seven NGOs in Canada.

CESO was very fortunate to have been chosen as one of the seven. This unique program provides access and information to more than 5,000,000 members of Aeroplan and encourages them to make a donation of miles into the account of CESO or one of the six other NGOs.

When members visit the Aeroplan site they will be given the option to read about the individual NGOs. They will then be provided with directions on how to make a donation of miles from their accounts to any one of the NGOs. This program will allow supporters of CESO who are Aeroplan members to learn about the program and donate miles via the newly designed CESO/Aeroplan website page.

Although donors will not be eligible for any form of a tax receipt, they will have the knowledge that they are providing much-needed travel expenses support to NGOs for international development work in Canada and overseas.
