Support to SME-Youth
Services & Contacts
The Support to SME-Youth program offers mentoring services, technical advice as well as support in management to young entrepreneurs at the stage of pre-start, start-up and expansion, in order to assist them in the development of their businesses
CESO has a roster of about 300 voluntary advisers on the Island of Montreal. These are able to offer advice in more than 150 areas of expertise, namely:
- financial management;
- administration;
- strategic planning;
- human ressources;
- sales and marketing;
- laws and accreditations;
- import/export;
- intellectual property;
- accounting;
- communications;
- distribution;
- market study, etc.
On receiving the service request form, our team evaluates the need(s) of the client and finds the voluntary adviser whose expertise corresponds the best with the request.
A first meeting is organized at the office of CESO Montreal. The client signs a contract, notably aimed at protecting his personal information. The voluntary adviser signs an agreement of confidentiality which prohibits the use of the client’s information for personal use. The pairing of the two parties remains for one year. The frequency and length of the meetings are at the discretion of the client and adviser. The team of the Support to SME-Youth program carries out a monthly follow up of the file.
