 SME-Youth
The Support to SME-Youth program aims to solidify the community of young entrepreneurs on the Island of Montreal through the help and support of CESO Volunteer Advisers (VAs). These VAs do not hesitate to share their expertise with young businesspeople who possess small and medium enterprises (SMEs). Thus, the youth benefit from advice, structured support and mentoring from our experienced members.
Following the second renewal of the program, in September 2005, excellent results have been achieved:
- 250 matches were made between the CESO Volunteer Advisers and the young Montreal entrepreneurs;
- 24 partnership agreements were signed with organizations that provide help to entrepreneurs on the island of Montreal;
- 96% of the young entrepreneurs helped are satisfied with the services offered by the Support to SME-Youth program;
- One hundred jobs were created at the heart of the businesses that were helped.
 “We would like to thank CESO for its mentoring service. It was a privilege to meet Mr. Raymond Busbridge who helped us organize our book launch and made us understand what the priorities are in business. He also spent time to help us improve our own professional performance.”
