Community Organizing to Make Poverty History Conference Saskatoon - Venue TBA September 15-16, 2006 Saskatchewan Council for International Cooperation is hosting a conference that will focus on community organizing to make poverty history. Through a panel presentation, workshops and opportunities to share success stories and action ideas, this conference will address poverty issues globally and look at how we can work to address these issues in our own communities. Workshop topics will include: Fair Trade; Women and Poverty; Privilege and anti-poverty organizing; Municipal organizing; Labour and vulnerable workers; Fundraising for anti- poverty work; sustainable activism and more!
