Free Outdoor Make Poverty Historty Concert

There will be a free outdoor concert in the park featuring the band TWO HOURS TRAFFIC with guests Brielle Ansems, Courtney Francis, poet John MacKenzie and others. It will take place at the picnic shelter at Joe Ghiz Memorial Park. There is limited seating. Bring your own blanket or lawn chair. There will be 3 - 4 short speeches on poverty issues, both local and international. White bands will be sold. The event is being held to celebrate the anniversary of the Live 8 concert and the accomplishments of the past year. Rain location will be Room 108 at the Basilica Recreation Center at the same time.
