International Earth Village Festival Vancouver June 19-25 The official arts and culture festival of the United Nations’ World Urban Forum. From June 19-25, 2006 artist/activists and youth from Canada and abroad will provide a rich and varied program of performances, exhibitions, workshops, dialogues, food, “Green Stream” activities, a Resource Fair.
The World Peace Forum Vancouver June 23- 28 The World Peace forum is an international gathering of individuals, groups, and civic governments from cities and communities who envision a living culture of peace and sustainability in our lifetimes. The program that will be held in British Columbia from June 23- 28, 2006 will feature large plenary sessions with prominent world thinkers, cultural performances, thematic and regional seminars, and numerous workshops and discussions.
