CESO volunteers have in various locations in BC:
- trained boards of directors on their roles and responsibilities to better serve the public;
- assisted with report preparation;
- and gave advice on accounting, budgeting and income taxes.
One of CESO’s partners in British Columbia is the Turtle Island Indigenous Education Corporation, a First Nations organization focused on delivering education and skills-development programs for Aboriginal adults.
CESO was also involved in the "Sharing the Wisdom of Our Elders" conference, held in both Kamloops, B.C. and Vancouver. The conferences allowed for the sharing of experiences and knowledge between Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal people.
