CESO | SACO: Sharing a Lifetime of Experience

Our public engagement (PE) program aims to build a constituency of educated, informed and active Canadian citizens who will support the strengthening of our efforts towards the achievement of the UN Millennium Development Goals. Our PE activities promote greater participation and awareness of development-related issues among our Volunteer Advisers and their local communities and therefore the wider Canadian population in general.

We generate interest through:

• CESO Clubs – self-sufficient groups of our volunteers who meet and organize events in cities across Canada;
• Our online presence – including our website and the use of social media;
• Public events;
• Media, both international and Canadian.

• Share your stories from the field with other CESO Volunteer Advisors and the public;
• Join a CESO Club in your area;
• Organize a third-party event or fundraiser;
• Support CESO’s work by making a donation.
