David R. Shaw

David Shaw's astute business sense and entrepreneurial leadership style make him an excellent candidate for CESO's board of directors.

Mr. Shaw capped off a 22-year global career with Pepsi Cola Canada with a three-year tenure as the company's president and CEO.  In 2001, he channeled his expertise in building, growing and sustaining businesses to create Knightsbridge, a Canadian human capital firm specializing in a strategic, solutions based approach to assist clients in managing their most important asset – their people. Knightsbridge has since become one of Canada's fastest-growing human capital solution companies.  Mr. Shaw was honoured in 2010 as the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year in Professional/Financial Services in Ontario.

An active volunteer in addition to his leadership responsibilities, Mr. Shaw is the former Chairman of the North York General Hospital Foundation and member of the Hospital Board of Directors, former Chairman of the Canadian Soft Drink Industry as well as the former Chair of the Stratford Chefs School. He currently sits on the Queen’s School of Business Advisory Board, the Junior Achievement of Canada Foundation Board, the Amrop Board (an international organization), the Mother Parkers Tea & Coffee Inc.
